House in row, with shop. Mid to late-C19 front, C16 back range. Painted brick front, timber-frame with painted brick panels, tile roof. A broad-span front block with a substantial earlier framed rear wing. Three storeys, two-windowed. Wide-spaced four-pane sashes to brick voussoirs and stone sills, full-width late C20 shop front. Brick eaves courses. Warder's Alley adjoins the property to the left, under the adjacent property (not included). The steep-roofed wing is in two storeys with attic, with large-panel framing including remains of substantial corner posts. Various C20 casements. Facing the alley is a raking dormer, immediately adjoining the rear wall of the front block.
