Bank. c1890. For National Provincial Bank. Ashlar with plinth
and raised quoins; Welsh slate roof with slate hung dormers. 2
storeys; 5-window range. Ground floor has central round-headed
door with vermiculated rustication to stepped high voussoirs;
similar rustication to 2 round-headed renewed windows at left,
and between plinth and window sill. At right, projecting
square bay has similarly rusticated quoins and 2 pairs of
plain windows. Continuous ground floor dentilled cornice.
Projecting quoins to first floor which has 4-pane sashes in
architraves; dentilled eaves entablature with modillioned
gutter cornice. Roof has 4-pane sashes in 3 gabled dormers
with pilasters and pediments, linked by blocking course. Left
parapet pier joins adjacent parapet; right gable has stone
coping. Corniced end chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected.
