House, probably originally for use of adjacent Congregational
church (qv). c1836. Coursed squared stone with ashlar quoins
and dressings; rubble right return gable. Welsh slate roof
with stone gable copings and stone chimney. 3 storeys;
one-window range. Tooled projecting stone surround at left to
late C20 six-panel door, the upper panels glazed in imitation
of fanlight. Flat stone lintel and projecting stone sills to
16-pane sashes at right. Roof has right end chimney with top
band. INTERIOR: not inspected.
