GV II

Town house, now with 2 shops. Early C19. Stucco on studwork front; natural slate roof with deep eaves; large stuccoed chimney, left of centre. Plan altered to create shops. 4 storeys; 3-window front. Late C19 canted bays to 1st floor; original 2nd-floor openings with shells under pilasters with consoles and alternate triangular, segmental and triangular pediments; 3rd-floor sill string and original openings with pilasters, consoles and moulded hoods, all with hornless sashes; widely spaced brackets under eaves. Ground floor has two C20 shop fronts under the sloping fascia of a late C19 shop front with terminal consoles. INTERIOR: ground floor altered C20, otherwise not inspected.
