Incorporates former No.29.
House, probably weaver's. Early C18; restored 1981 for
Teesdale Buildings Preservation Trust. Coursed squared stone
with quoins and ashlar dressings; roof of stone slates with
stone ridge, gable copings and chimneys. 3 storeys; 3-window
range. Central renewed 6-panel door and 3-pane overlight in
plain stone surround in restored ground floor, formerly with 2
other inserted doors and now with flanking wide windows with
wood mullions to paired 12-pane sashes in plain stone
surrounds. Similar surrounds to 16-pane first-floor sashes,
and second-floor central fixed light, of 9 panes with central
opening pane, and flanking paired sashes. Roof has stone gable
copings on cyma-moulded kneelers, and end chimneys. INTERIOR:
not inspected.
