Attached house, now office. Early C19. Brick with limestone
dressings, party wall stacks, roof not visible. Double-depth
plan. Mid Georgian style. 3 storeys and basement; 5-window
range. Pilasters to a cornice and parapet. Doorway between
left-hand windows has pilasters to a pediment, a semicircular
arch, fanlight and 6-panel door. Windows with flat brick
arches to 6/6-pane sashes, 3/3-panes to the second-floor.
INTERIOR: extensively restored: a semicircular arch to the
central stairwell, with a left-hand dogleg stair with column
balusters and moulded rail. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached
front area wrought-iron railings and gates, continuous to
No.25 (qv). Possibly a copy of late C18 house, and now
internally linked with No.28 (not included).
