Terrace of 18 houses. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar, party wall
stacks, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian
style. Each of 3 storeys and basement; 1-window range. Handed
pairs have fronts recessed between pilasters, plat band, sill
band and frieze, and parapets with blind balustrades. Open
porches over paired doorways have square columns, a pediment
and acroteria, to rectangular overlights with margin bars, and
2-panel doors. Front areas with steps down to the basements.
Plain ground-floor 8/8-pane sashes, first-floor tripartite
windows with 6/6-pane flanked by 2/2-pane sashes with panelled
mullions, and pilasters to 6/6-pane second-floor sashes. No.35
has a window in place of the doorway, and a single-storey
porch in the right return with Egyptian-style attached columns
and a 4-panel door, and conservatory windows to the left with
blue margin lights. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY
FEATURES: attached bud-headed wrought-iron front area railings
and gates.
