Terrace of 3 houses, now shops and office. Late C18, with mid
C19 shops, and C20 offices. Limestone ashlar, brick gable and
party wall stacks and double Roman tile mansard roof.
Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. Each of 3 storeys and
double attic; 2-window range. Articulated by pilaster strips,
missing between Nos 1 & 3, to a moulded coping, coped party
wall and stack between Nos 3 & 5, with a first-floor band; C19
shop fronts have pilasters to a fascia and cornice, with
4-pane and 6-pane shop windows. Keyed windows to horned
plate-glass sashes. A continuous full-width attic dormer with
casements in the lower part of the mansard, with 4 gabled
dormers above with barge-boards and finials. INTERIOR: largely
modernised late C20.
