GV II

Terrace of 4 houses and public house. Early-mid C19. Brick and
render, with limestone dressings, party wall stacks, roof not
visible. Late Georgian style.
Each of 3 storeys; 1-window range, 2-window range to end
houses. A parapeted terrace with a moulded cornice to the 3
right-hand houses, pilaster strips and a flat band to the
left-hand pair; No.18 red brick. Doorways with scrolled
consoles to a cornice, plate-glass overlight and C20 doors;
left hand doors, No.18 set to the left of a keyed
segmental-arched carriage arch with double doors. The public
house front has a central doorway between pilaster jambs,
4-panel door, and plate-glass windows. This probably includes
Nos 24 & 26. 5 stepped voussoirs to 2/2-pane sashes with
margin panes, C20 casements to Nos 18 & 20.
INTERIOR: entrance stair halls with stair flights with moulded
balusters. The carriage arch gives on to a rear yard.
