825-1/4/47 The Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C17, extended mid C19. Timber-frame and plaster, with
some brick infill; plain tile roof; rubble stackbase with
tablet ECM 1687, and composite brick chimneys. T-shaped plan,
with C19 gable wings. Single storey and attic; scattered
fenestration, of cast-iron lattice glazed lights and
casements, under simple hoods; gable dormers; spike finials to
gables. Plank door to south, under simple porch hood with
spike finial.
