1350-0/3/31 Barn at Pympe Manor
II
Barn. C18 altered 1920s. Timber-framed barn with exposed
framing with diagonal braces. Tiled roof with C20 square
lantern with weathervane, the base of brick, some herringbone.
Some C18 plank doors. Outshut to left, right and rear. Centre
front has C20 tiled canopy on brackets, clock face and some
C17 guilloche moulding removed from Pix's cottages, Rolvenden
C.P. 5 bay barn. Interior has jowled posts with curved
profiles, diagonal tension braces and staggered purlin roof.
