Dated 1737. Two storeys. 1 + 2 windows. Stone with rendered front. Glazing bar sash windows. Door left of centre with chamfered reveals and lintel carved "T.K.B." over "1737".

Holy Island House and Holy Island Cottage form a group together with Nos 45 to 49 (odd) Gilesgate and (Nos 1 to 5) Giles Place. (Nos 1 to 5) Giles Place are of local interest.
