House, now incorporating 2 flats. C18, refronted early C19.
Brick with stucco facing; tile roof with brick end and rear
stacks. Georgian style. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range.
Stucco plinth, platt band over ground floor and top
entablature with parapet stepped up to central rectangular
panel. Entrance has doorcase with panelled pilasters and
altered open pediment; glazed panelled door. Ground floor has
2 canted bay windows with cornices and hipped slate roofs,
plate glass horned sashes and cast-iron gutter with lion
masks; 1st-floor windows have sills and 20-pane sashes. Rear
has gabled wing and varied additions; stable range to right
return; left return has varied fenestration and entrance with
panelled pilasters and large scrolly acanthus brackets, fluted
frieze and entablature blocks to open pediment; fanlight with
decorative glazing bars over 6-fielded-panel door. 3
first-floor sashes, 2 ground-floor canted bays.
