Chapel, now hall. c1775 with C19 alterations. Red brick,
Flemish bond with random burnt headers, concrete tile roof. 2
storeys, 4 bays. C19 lean-to extension to E end. Flank wall to
street with later lateral stack between bays 1 and 2. Wide
overhanging eaves with paired modillion soffit. Street
elevation has late C19 2-light mullion and transom windows
with leaded lights, round arches to first floor, segmental
arches to ground floor. Inserted central double-leaf 6-panel
doors. Gabled E end with windows arranged 1:3:1, the central
group formerly full height, central bulls-eye window to gable.
C20 sashes to ground floor, original 3-light mullion and
transom window with leaded lights and recessed central opening
light to first floor right, other windows C19 similar to
street elevation. Rear flank wall with range of 4 original
first floor window, those to bays 1 and 2 with ferramenta.
Ground floor windows are C19 replacements as before. The
present church is attached to the W end.
