4/87 Greenmeads Farm House

II

House. C17 with C19 extensions to rear. Square panel timber frame on rendered
plinth, whitewashed brick infill below, tile hung above some in fishscale pattern;
tile hung across left hand return front, brick to rear. Plain tiled roof with
rear stack to left. Gable end to front; 2 storeys and attic in gable. 1 casement
window on each floor. Half glazed door to left of centre under shallow gabled porch
hood on wooden supports with curved bargeboards and spiked finial. Pent roofed bay
set back to right with cambered head casement window to right. Planked door in
re-entrant angle with main house under pent hood on one wooden column.

Interior: Ground floor room to left has ceiling frame exposed and deep brick fire-
place. Old exterior wall preserved inside new extensions.
