Barn. Late C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Coursed
squared limestone rubble; stone slate roof. 8-bay barn with
two gabled porches with high openings with exposed timber
lintels to left and centre; to left now blocked and with later
pedestrian doorway now blocked also, unglazed 2-light window
in gable above, rectangular niches approximately 1.5m above
ground inside porch to left and right; porch to centre has
half-height plank doors. Butt-purlin roof has principals with
curved braces to right, ridge purlin partly replaced by ridge
plank; 5 bays to left converted into fives court with gallery
inserted have had braces removed, some trusses retain double
collars, rafters halved together at ridge. Pair of double
doors to left side have chamfered lintel with diagonal-cut
stop.
