5/11 Park Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C18, extended c.1830. Red brick in Flemish bond
and English garden wall bond of 3. Hipped pantile roof, lead
dressings, 2 ridge stacks. 2 storey, 4 bay front, the right hand
bay is slightly recessed and an addition. First floor brick band
to original house. Off-centre half glazed door in semi-circular
arched surround, set in brick porch with brick pilasters and
parapet. Over the door a worn sandstone datestone. Flanked by
single glazing bar sashes set under broad segmental arches in
recessed panels with flat brick arched heads. To the right a
glazing bar sash. To first floor are 3 similar windows with
segmental arched heads and above the door a blank opening. A
farm on the Massingberd Candelsby estate.
