House, shop in part of lower floor and W extension. Late C17.
Timber frame plastered. Steep old red tile roofs. 3-unit, L-
shaped house. Front range has larger room on E served by an
external gable chimney, narrower W part has entrance and rear
wall chimney at junction with rear wing. 2-storeys 2-windows
wide front. Asymmetrical arrangement with 2 flush box sash
windows to upper floor with moulded surrounds. Similar window on
ground floor on left, low 4-panel flush-beaded door in heavy
frame with moulded architrave and moulded flat hood on shaped
brackets. Small C19 shop window to right with moulded fascia and
small panes. Plastered single storey tiled extension on right
has a tallershop window on each side of a 4-panelled flush
beaded door with fanlight and moulded flat hood on shaped
brackets. 2-storeys gabled plastered rear wing with internal
gable chimney has tile roof and a 2-storeys canted bay window
with sashes. A lower one and a half storeys plaster and tiled
outbuilding extends to the rear.
