Lodge. Circa 1870. Andre and Hornblower. Red brick patterned with blue brick and stone, steep slate roof. L-plan with porch in angle. 2 storeys. 1st floor has planted timbers over brick work. Tall central stack. Facade to Aigburth Road has 2 projecting ground floor windows with half dormers over with balconies. Timber-framed porch has open sides. Left return has lean-to to ground floor, half-dormer over to left of enclosed porch with hipped roof and decorated doorcase with figures. Projecting bay to right has canted bay with rectangular oriel below gable with decorative bargeboards. Rear elevation has bracketed oriel in half-hipped gable flanking lean-to gables with quatrefoil windows.
