GV II

Pair of town houses. Mid C19. Incised stucco on rubble;
bitumen-grouted slate roof with projecting eaves on brackets.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 4-window front with
central pair of doorways flanking passage. Original 12-pane
hornless sashes, those to 1st floor within moulded
architraves; 1st-floor sill band. 3 pilastered central
doorways with moulded entablature with cornice hood, all with
overlights, No.23 (left) and central doorway with original
single-panel doors, other door glazed. INTERIOR: not inspected
but likely to be of interest.
