Gate and attached walls to south-east of Church of St Martin

(Formerly listed as Gate and attached walls to south-west of Church of St Martin)

GV II

Gate and attached churchyard walls. C18 & mid C19. Slatestone rubble walls with some granite dressings; wrought-iron gate. Plan of grid style flanked by walls with gate to outer (east) end linked to steps down to road and probably older walls at left (west) for approx 45m and to right for approx 35m. Gate is ramped up at sides and has cast-iron spear head finials over the bars and urn finials over the stiles.
