garden wall to south-east.

House, now 2. C1820. Red brick; hipped slate roof; 2 rear brick chimneys
2 storeys; 3 first-floor windows. Central panelled(double-leaf style)
door has overlight with lattice glazing bars in panelled reveals flanked
by 2 Tuscan half-columns with a plain entablatureand small hood.
Windows have 16-pane sashes throughout under flat gauged brick arches.
Paired modillion cornice. High garden wall attached to left has a round-
headed door with gauged brick arch. Similar wall to right forms the
facade of No.8a with ground and first-floor sashes to right of door.
Roof not visible behind parapet with flat stone coping.
