House. c1860s. Stuccoed and blocked out; slate roof, gabled at
ends; left end and rear right stack with rendered shafts and
platbands.
PLAN: Double-depth plan, 2-rooms-wide with a central entrance.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay front; deep eaves;
centre bay recessed. Round-headed doorway with 4-panel front
door and fanlight with spider's web glazing bars; 12-pane
sashes, 2 to the ground floor, 3 to the first floor. Right end
has cusped, pierced bargeboards, one first-floor 12-pane
window; French windows with glazing bars and overlight.
Flat-roofed projection at left end.
INTERIOR: Not inspected but likely to be of interest.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Garden to right of front enclosed by
cast-iron railings with bold spear finials and square section
gate pier with low pyramidal caps.
