Row of 3 town houses. c.1830, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Double-depth plan, each house single-fronted (Nos.6 and 8 built halls-adjoining) and with a rear wing. Two storeys over cellars, 2 bays each but No.4 altered by addition of wide 2-storey canted bay; No.4 has doorway to right, Nos.6 and 8 have coupled doorways, all these doorways round-headed with gauged brick voussoirs and set-in Tuscan quarter-columns, and large fanlights with elegant radiating tracery; windows of Nos.6 and 8 are sashed without glazing bars and have raised sills and wedge lintels, and cellar windows have similar lintels, but No.4 has a large late C19 2-storey canted bay. Plain frieze and moulded gutter cornice. Chimneys both sides of ridge at junctions of properties. No.4 has cellar area protected by simple cast-iron bar railings which have ornamental heads, urn finials on the corners to the doorways, and an integral boot-scraper in the section to the right of the door (matching railings belonging to No.1 Bushell Place continue to the right); No.6 has C20 replacement railings and No.8 has none. INTERIOR not inspected.
