GV II

3 cottages, below street level. Late C17/early C18 with
alterations. Painted render over rubblestone, C19 continuous
crested slate roof with exposed rafter ends, brick and
rubblestone chimneys to rear of Nos 23 & 25. Two storeys; Nos
23 & 25 are virtually symmetrical 2-window range, No.27 is
one-window range with a door to the right. Majority of windows
to Nos 25 & 27 recently replaced with 3-light wooden
casements, 6 panes per light, to first floor; similar 4-light
casements either side of door of No.25 and 3-light casement to
right of door to No.27. To the ground-floor left of No.23 is a
low horizontal lead-paned 4-light window, probably formerly
mullioned. C20 doors. INTERIORS not inspected.
