House. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar, roof not visible.
Double-depth plan. Italianate style with unusual details. 3
storeys; 3-window range. A symmetrical front with round-ended
quoins, plat bands to each floor, a bracketed cornice and a
parapet with 3 sections of pierced balustrade. A projecting
doorcase has a keyed semicircular arch and sunken panels below
a bracketed cornice and balustrade, and 2-leaf 3-panel doors;
flanking bays have matching cornices, and French windows.
Semicircular-arched upper windows with raised surrounds are
paired to the outside, with brackets to balustrade-less
balconies and consoles to cornices on the first floor, and
plain surrounds on the second. Middle windows have fluted
architraves and a console cornice on the first floor. INTERIOR
not inspected.
