GV II

House. Mid to late C18 with later additions. Brick with ashlar
dressings; slate roof with brick end stacks. L-plan with later
addition to rear wing and re-entrant wing. 3 storeys; 3-window
range. Ground floor sill band and top wooden cornice. Central
round-headed entrance has doorcase with fluted pilasters, open
pediment and fanlight over 6-fielded-panel door. Ground floor
has bow window to left end with 8:12:8-pane tripartite sash,
pilaster strips and bracketed cornice; other windows have
rubbed brick flat arches over 12-pane horned sashes, 6-pane
sashes to 2nd floor. Right return has large 16-pane sash over
blocked large segmental-headed opening; C20 single-storey
addition to rear. Interior not inspected.
