GV II

House, now 2 shops. C17 with later alterations. Incised stucco
with double-Roman pantile roof and truncated brick stack to
left gable end. 3-unit through-passage plan. 2 storeys;
3-window range. First floor has horizontal 3-light casements
with C20 plate glass; C19 shop windows framed by pilasters to
right; ground floor has C20 doors to sides and to
left-of-centre, which is access to the flat above. INTERIOR: A
wide planked door with strap hinges is to the rear of the
passage with an under-stair cupboard with an H-L hinge, to the
right. Some early C18 two-panel doors remain on the first
floor. Roof not seen.
