GV II

Barn. Late C16 with minor external alterations dated 1847.
Rendered and colourwashed timber-frame, with some
corrugated-iron cladding. Roof of corrugated asbestos. North
elevation with blocked central door, south elevation with
corrugated-iron porch and C20 flanking outshuts. INTERIOR. 5
bays of heavy scantling framing. Middle rail. Principal studs
have arched braces to tie beams, some missing. Queen struts to
principal rafters. Lower tier of butt purlins of diamond
section, upper tier are clasped. Collars. Curved windbracing.
