Coach house at Ridgebourne

GV II

Coach-house. Mid C19. Dressed stone front; coursed rubble;
"turnerized" slate roof with gable to front; turret with
louvres and pointed leaded lights under lead roof with ball
finial. Single storey and loft. Canted semicircular arch with
ashlar voussoirs, stone springers, and band over; lunette
light under ashlar arch, to gable. To right, semicircular
light with casement, under semicircular ashlar arch; to left,
frame of double-doorway. Cobbled floor. Right returned side:
round opening to gable. Left returned side: loft door. Rear: 2
plank doors; 3-light casement in altered opening; segmental
arches; blue brick stack. Included for group value.
