GV II*

House. c1750 for Roberts family with C18 addition to north
end. Front of red brick, rear of ashlar. Tiled roof with brick
chimney stack at each end. 2 storeys and attics, 7 windows. 2
parallel ranges. Parapet concealing 3 flat roofed dormers.
Stringcourse. 12-pane sash windows. Central doorcase at the
head of 6 steps with engaged Doric columns, triglyph frieze,
projecting cornice and door of 6 fielded panels. Fine
contemporary staircase seen but access refused.
