House, formerly farmhouse. c1721 restored late C20. Built of
isle of Wight stone rubble with renewed tiled roof and brick
chimneystack. 4 bay lobby entrance house of 2 storeys and
attics 4 windows. 3 C20 hipped dormers. 4 C20 casement windows
with leaded lights in original surrounds, cambered on ground
floor. Off central stone porch with hipped tiled roof. Plinth.
Right side elevation has windows with keystones. Interior has
spine beam with 2 inch chamfers and lambs tongue stops. Open
fireplace with large chamfered wooden bressumer and spice
cupboard. Parlour chimney has wooden bressumer. An original
Domesday Manor.
