House. Early C17 lobby entrance house extended in C18. Built
of Isle of Wight stone rubble with red brick dressings. Old
tiled roof with 2 brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys and attics in
gable ends. 3 cambered headed triple casements. Weatherporch
with slate roof and round-headed entrance. Catslide roof to
rear. L wing incorporates former brewhouse. Interior has early
C17 beam with 4 inch chamfer and lambs tongue stop. Stone
inglenook fireplace with lambs tongue stops. Early C19
staircase with stick balusters and column newel. Roof has 2
tiers of purlins and C17 attic plank door on pintle hinges.
