Cottage, c.1800, thought to have been built as a coachman's
cottage. Built of stone rubble with slate roof and tall end
brick chimneystack. 2 storeys 2 windows. Casements with built
in keystones to ground floor. Wooden pedimented porch with
chamfered piers and 4 panelled door. Rear door has 2 panels.
Interior has 2 alcoves and plank doors to 1st floor. This is
the only estate cottage surviving from Nash's ownership of
Hamstead Grange.
