House, now offices. c1790. Brick with ashlar dressings; tile
roof with brick end stack. Double-depth plan. Georgian style.
Plaster plinth and top cornice and blocking course. Tall
building of 3 storeys; 3-window range. Entrance to left end
has doorcase with pilasters and consoled cornice, overlight in
form of radial-bar fan to paired 3-fielded-panel doors; steps
with plain iron handrails, one C20. Windows have sills and
rubbed brick flat arches: 12-pane sashes, those to 2nd floor
9-pane sashes. Rear has long gabled wing with casements to
right of large 16-pane sashes and 2nd floor 4/8-pane sash.
INTERIOR: window shutters; dogleg staircase with stick
balusters and wreathed handrail; 1st floor front room has
entablature with scrolled enrichment to frieze including
Prince of Wales feather motif.
