GV II

House, later shop. Mid-late C18 with C20 shop, probably
replacing C19 shop. Painted incised stucco with painted ashlar
dressings; roof of synthetic slates with stone gable coping
and rendered chimney. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Round-headed
arch at left to passage to Well Yard has stepped rusticated
voussoirs. Late C20 shop front at right has full-height
plate-glass window with glazed door at left under large
fascia. Plain sashes above in plain reveals, and smaller
4-pane sashes on second floor. Roof has right stone gable
coping with cyma-moulded kneeler, and right end chimney. Rear
elevation shows relieving arch and elliptical stone head over
passage.
