Russet Cottage
II

Cottage pair, now house. Late C18 or early C19, with some C20
alterations. Red brick front with thatched roof, end stacks
and ridge stack to right of centre. Two storeys; four window
first floor and five window ground floor, the second window
from the left on the ground floor replacing a door. Casements,
shallower on first floor than below, with segment heads on
ground floor. Ribbed door with thatched beehive hood between
fourth and fifth windows from left.
