Includes Nos 49, 50 and 50A New Street. Early/mid C19, altered. Stucco:
3 storeys; 4 have set back within the wall surface in the rhythm 1:1:2 plus a
curved corner bay. Ground floor with modern shop front and entrance with beaten
copper door of circa 1900 within a wooden case with segmental hood. First and
second floors each with 4 windows, those of the second floor 3 panes deep as
against the 4 of the first floor and with blank panels below them. Moulded eaves
cornice with coupled brackets. On the left-hand return, Nos 49, 50 and 50A New
Street with 5 bays similarly treated but in the rhythm 2:1:1:1.
