Late C17 house with early C19 rendered facade. C17 rear wing
and C19 addition in angle of two ranges. Two storeys with
attics. Local red brick with rusticated stone quoins to street
range; gault brick and timber-framed rear wing. Plain tiled
roofs, with parapet, gable to south-east and reduced end stack.
Original deep moulded eaves cornice with mullions. Three
casement dormer windows, five first floor hung sash windows with
glazing bars. Early C19 shop windows with blind, round headed
fanlights and patterned glazing bars, flank central doorway with
similar fanlight now sealed with later window. House door
half-glazed, and small sash window to north-west, plank passage
door to south-east. Interior has early C19 chimney pieces and
staircase. Sealed inglenook hearth in rear wing. Fire
insurance plaque on street facade.
