Possibly a C16 off earlier, timber framed and plastered cottage
with late C17 chimney stacks and inserted floors. Two unit
plan, one storey and attic. Thatched roof, half-hipped to
road. Two ridge stacks. Boarded door with one horizontal
sliding sash window with glazing bars and one small fixed light
window to upper room. Interior has one sealed inglenook hearth,
sealed three-light mullion window in east wall and part of the
door head beside the boxed stair of the original entry. Tie
beam to open truss, canted, and original rafters with curved
wind braces in each bay of side purlin roof.
