Farmhouse. Dated on West gable wall CWM 1730. Lias stone walls. Thatch
roof with stone gable-copings. Brick stacks at left and right hand gables.
2 storeys, 4 windows, ground floor has 3 3-light stone mullions (ovolos) with
returned labels over. Upper floor has 2 and 3-light wooden casements with
wooden cills. West gable wall has 2 C18 single-light windows with a continuous
moulded label over. Front door with c C16 stone jambs, reset. 2-centred
arch with foliage spandrels, all under a square head. Plank door, framed
and studded. Strap-hinges. Porch has ashlar stone walls with straight-
chamfered jambs. Pentice tile roof. Rear wing, C18, rubble-stone wall.
2 stone gable-copings stand up above line of pentice roof. 2 storeys, for
the whole length of house. Interior: right room, stone-jambed fireplace,
with a wooden lintel, slightly-chamfered, brick back wall and hearth. Bread
oven intact. Left room, fireplace of stone with a bolection moulding.
Curved stone jambs, with half-moulded edge.
