Dated 1848. In an Elizabethan style. Red brick with stone dressings; slate
roof. Two storeys plus attic; 3 bays, the centre one advanced, with a shaped
gable and containing the projecting porch with 4 centred arch with mullioned
fanlight between coupled Ionic columns and, above that, a canted oriel window
with sill zone with shields and open strapwork parapet with urns. In the
gable, an attic window. Ground floor windows left and right are rectangular
bay windows with triangular centres and open strapwork parapets. Above these,
3 light windows with transom and tripartite attic windows under smaller shaped
gables. Low service wing to left with shaped gable and linking with higher
shaped gabled, coachhouse. To the right, a single and 2 storeyed wing of C1910
in an Arts and Crafts Elizabethan style.
