2/64 Stable Block and attached barn
south of Lavendon grange.

Stable Block, probably early C18, aligned on central axis of S. front
of Lavendon Grange. Stone, old tiled roof with central stone coped projecting
gable to north front, 1 storey and lofts, circular window to central gable
with ashlar surround and axial blocks. Central carriage arch, now blocked,
with segmental ashlar, arch and keyblock. On each side of centre are 2 bays
of 2 light wood casements, the former stable doors between blocked in stone.
Attached at the rear a long range of C19 barns in 3 stages, stone with slate
roof, the most southern section lower with asbestos roof, and 2 ashlar arched
doorways.
