C17 and C18, altered, one build now 2 dwellings, cob with brick-faced east
end. Half hipped thatch roof. 5 1st floor casements, one of which is a semi-dormer,
windows now renewed. Projecting wing at rear with room above and door below
which opens into a passage running through the centre of the house. Small
wood gabled porch with slate roof. An attractive avenue of trees, mostly beeches,
runs up to the house. Interior: C17 part, east, massive hewn chamfered beams,
wide fireplace with stop chamfered beam. C18 part, west, cased beams, windows
with wood panelled reveals. 6-panel rear door, replaces former door with strap
hinges on lugs.
