Farmhouse, now house. Dated 1651 on first floor plaster overmantel to fireplace,
C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rabble with stone dressings, pantiled roof
with stone ridge tiles to rear, raised coped verges and gable stacks. L-plan
with cross passage and stair turret in angle; symmetrical front. 2 storeys and
3 windows, all 3-light casements with ovolo mullions, hood mould and high relieving
arch, first floor central window of 2 lights without relieving arch, some leaded
lights remaining at first floor, iron casements and stanchions, central C20 door
with scroll-moulded lintel remaining, single storey later addition to left with
garage door. Left return has 4-pane attic window with timber lintel, right return
has 2-light casement with timber lintel at first floor. Rear has 2-storey wing
with steeper roof and lower eaves level, all C20 windows, 2-storey gabled stair
turret with 3-pane casement with timber lintel, rear of main house has two 4-pane
casements at ground floor; attached outbuilding has 2 C20 doors and 2 windows,
roof lights. Interior: not inspected, contains series of fine moulded and
stopped door frames and plaster overmantel with fleur-de-lys in first floor front
