Three houses, now offices and dwelling. Early/mid C18, with later alterations.
Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; brick end and ridge stacks
and ridge stack of stone finished in brick. Long range with rear wings. 2
storeys and attic; 7-window range. Central symmetrical 3-window range: mid C19
six-panalled door with overlight set in moulded wood architrave with panelled
reveals and bracketed flat hood. Timber lintels over early C19 eight-pane sashes
above tripartite sashes; 2 early C20 gabled roof dormer and hipped roof dormer.
Two-window range to right has similar door and architrave: early C20 bay window;
2 similar early C19 sashes on first floor; hipped roof dormer. To left is
carriage-entry with C19 plank doors, and then 2-window range with timber lintels
over early C19 eight-pane sashes above late C19 two-pane sashes. Rear: central
C19 outshut and wing; C18 wing extended in mid C19 to rear; C18 wing to left.
Long C18 range, probably part of former blanket-making factory, to rear left.
Interior: C19 and C20. Early C18 butt-purlin roof to main range. Rear wings not
inspected.
