Inn, now public house. C17; mid C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble;
gabled stone slate roof; C19 brick ridge stack and C20 brick end stack. L-pian
with rear right wing. 2 storeys; 6-window range. Gabled 2-storey rendered porch
with C20 door and window, flanked by one-storey one-bay extensions with C20
windows. Carriage-entry to left; timber lintels over C20 first-floor windows.
C18 rear wing of limestone rubble with stone slate and concrete roof. Interior:
stop-chamfered beans. Chamfered joists, and chamfered bressumer over open
fireplace to right. Partial inspection only. Included for group value.
