Former Bible Christian Chapel, now Methodist Church. 1857.

brick extension at liturgical east (actually south) end. Small C20
kitchen extension to left. 2 round-headed long windows to front
and sides, all with original sashes including radial bars. Central
gabled entrance porch with 4-panel door and semi-circular fanlight.
Iron plaque above porch with oak leaf and acorn decoration and
inscription "Bible Christian/Chapel/Built AD 1857".
Interior has pews, and gallery with decorative balustrade supported
on cast iron columns. This is a good example of a Bible Christian
Chapel, a sect particularly popular in the Forest of Dean in the
C19, and is substantially in its original condition except for a
renewed roof.
