Former farmhouse. C16, the section to right of stack possibly later. Timber
framed with old plasterwork; late C19 colourwashed brick rebuilding to eaves
level to right of stack. Thatched roof. 1½ storeys. 3-cell form. Ground
floor has 2 15-paned windows, one C19, one a replacement of 1986, and a 3-
light segmental-headed casement window to right. Boarded entrance door. One
eyebrow dormer with C19 window. Internal stack with rendered shaft and a
small stack against the left gable end. Hall and service cells, in 2 bays,
have exposed full-height studs and arched wall braces. Blocked diamond-
mullioned windows in service chamber. Exposed joists running lengthwise,
those at the service end irregular. Open fireplace in hall. Wind-braced side
purlin roof. Most of the structure in parlour end altered or lost.
