House. Late C17, refronted c.1870. Coursed limestone rubble; stucco front.
Gabled artificial stone slate roof; C20 brick end slacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys
and attic; 3-window range. Late C19 cast-iron foliate brackets support pediment
hood above late C19 plank door. Tripartite and 2-pane sashes; 2 gabled roof
dormers. Rear: mid C19 outshut; stair-turret adjoins mid C18 service wing of
limestone rubble with stone slate roof. Interior: heavy chamfered beams; c,1870
dog-leg stairs and C17 collar-truss roof with butt purlins. Open fireplace with
wood bressumer in rear wing.
